Local Core streaming
Scan your music folder, serve artwork and streams, and keep playback state tied to user accounts.
Self-hosted music for serious homelabs
RektTunes Next combines a premium player, Local Core streaming, Navidrome support, Lidarr requests, YouTube imports, playlists, lyrics, and admin controls in one lifetime purchase.
Why it exists
Made by Tryhard Dev Studios, RektTunes Next started from a simple irritation: too much of our media, metadata, and listening behavior is controlled by services we do not own. I took inspiration from excellent media players already out there, kept the ideas that felt right, and poured everything I wanted from a homelab music system into one focused player.
Built for the stack you already run

Request albums from discovery without making the player do download work.
Inspect playlists, choose videos, import audio, preserve thumbnails, and file results cleanly.
Albums, tracks, discovery, playlists, lyrics, ratings, favorites, and a full playback bar.
